Broccoli Salad with Bacon and Cheese

  • 1/2 thinly chopped red onion in half rings
  • 2/3 Art. coarsely grated hot cheddar cheese
  • 1/3 Art. mayonnaise
  • 1/3 Art. sour cream
  • 1/4 tsp celery seed
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper

Recipe preparation:

  1. Divide broccoli into inflorescences. Blanch in boiling water salted water, so that it softens a little, about 20 seconds. Put in a bowl of ice. Drain and set aside.
