Breaded ice cream

Ingredients for the recipe:

For ice cream:

  • 940 ml. ice cream (with any filling)
  • 3 tbsp. breadcrumbs
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tbsp. l vanilla extract
  • Deep-frying vegetable oil (approximately 8 tbsp.)
  • Cocoa Powder

For the sauce:

  • 110 gr. crushed dark chocolate
  • 6 tbsp. l milk
  • 2 tbsp. l fat cream
  • 1 tbsp. l (15 gr.) Unsalted butter
  • 1 tbsp. l Sahara
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • A pinch of salt

Recipe preparation:

  1. Make ice cream: put 8 balls on a baking sheet ice cream. Freeze for about 1 hour until it becomes solid.
  2. Pour breadcrumbs into a shallow bowl. In another in a shallow bowl, beat the eggs and vanilla extract. Dip balls of ice cream in the egg mixture, allow the excess liquid to drain, then roll in breadcrumbs. Put the balls back on baking sheet and freeze for another 1 hour, so that the top layer also hardened. Dip in egg mixture again, then in breadcrumbs crackers. Ice cream balls should be completely coated with breadcrumbs. Freeze completely for at least another 1 hour. (On last step you can wrap ice cream balls in food film and store in the freezer for 3 days).
  3. Make the sauce: microwave-shaped mix chocolate, milk, heavy cream, sugar, vanilla extract and salt. Melt the mixture in the microwave in several steps by 30 seconds each, mixing the mixture in between. Chocolate should melt completely, and the mixture should become homogeneous.
  4. Heat approximately 6 cm of vegetable oil in a deep pan over medium-high heat to a temperature of 200 degrees. Fry the frozen balls of ice cream, 2 at a time, in 30 seconds until golden brown. Take them out Dry with a slotted spoon on paper towels. Serve immediately table with chocolate sauce. Sprinkle cocoa powder on top.
