- 4 slices of bacon
- 2 tbsp. l (30 gr.) Butter
- 1 large shallot, finely chopped (about 1/3 tbsp.)
- 0.5 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 kg. red cabbage, peeled from the core, cut into 4 parts and finely chopped
- 1/4 Art. cider vinegar

Recipe preparation:
- Cover a large heat-resistant plate with 4 sheets of paper towels. Put slices of bacon on top of each other, then top with 2 extra sheets of paper towels. Microwave at maximum power. within 5 minutes. Check the bacon to be crispy. If it’s still raw, keep heating at 1 minute intervals until the bacon will not become crispy. Set aside.
- In a large heat-resistant glass bowl, put the creamy oil, shallots and caraway seeds. Microwave in maximum power for 1 minute, until the oil melts. Add cabbage, apple cider vinegar to melted butter, 1.5 tsp salt and 1/4 tsp black pepper and mix to evenly distribute the ingredients. Cover with holes or cling film with 6 small holes. Cook in microwave at maximum power for 5 minutes. Carefully remove the lid and mix the cabbage. Cover again cover or film and cook, stirring every 5 minutes, until the most large pieces of cabbage will not fade and become soft, another 10-15 minutes.
- Using forceps, transfer the cabbage to a serving dish; letting excess fluid drain back into the bowl. Coarsely chop the bacon and sprinkle them with cabbage. Serve immediately.
