Beef with sweet potato in aromatic broth

  • 0.7 kg boneless sirloin steak (about 4 cm thick)
  • 1 bunch of radishes (with herbs)
  • 5 tbsp. l teriyaki sauce
  • 3 tbsp. l oyster sauce
  • 3 tsp grated peeled ginger
  • Vegetable oil, for frying
  • 2 tbsp. l unsalted rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp. l brown sugar
  • 2 small sweet potato tubers, peeled and sliced in circles 0.5 cm thick.
  • 1 bunch of green onions, separate the white parts from the green and cut into 4 cm pieces.
  • Dark sesame oil to sprinkle

Recipe preparation:

  1. Coarsely chop radish greens. Cut the radish into 8 parts.
  2. Heat a grill pan over moderate heat. Mix in a bowl of 2 tbsp. l Teriyaki sauce, 2 tbsp. l oyster sauce, 1 tsp. ginger and 0.5 tsp pepper, then apply to steak.
  3. Lightly grease the grill pan with vegetable oil, then fry the steak for about 5 minutes on each side for a weak roasting. Lay on a cutting board and let the meat rest 5 minutes, then chop thinly.
  4.
