Beans Braised in Root Beer

Beans stewed in root beer – a detailed recipe cooking. Photo Beans Braised in Root Beer Time: 1 hour. Complexity: easy Servings: 8 The recipes use measuring containers with a volume of: 1 glass (st.) – 240 ml. 3/4 cup (st.) – 180 ml. 1/2 cup (Art.) – 120 ml. 1/3 cup (st.) – 80 ml. 1/4 cup (st.) – 60 ml 1 tablespoon (tbsp.) – 15 ml. 1 teaspoon (tsp) – 5 ml

Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 2 cans (800 gr.) Baked beans
  • 1 bottle (350 ml.) Of root beer
  • 4 sliced bacon
  • 1 diced medium red onion the size
  • 1/4 Art. Worcester sauce
  • 1/4 Art. ketchup
  • 1/4 Art. spicy (“vigorous”) mustard
  • 3 tbsp. l brown sugar

Recipe preparation:

  1. Place a large pan on the grill or side burner on medium heat and fry the bacon until fat is melted and the bacon won’t start getting crispy. Add chopped onion to the bacon and cook until soft. Add the remaining ingredients and mix. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to weak and cover the pan with a lid. Stew for 30 minutes. or up to an hour in depending on the desired density.
