Basmati Rice “Bollywood”

Share with friends: Photo Basmati RiceTime: 40 minutes Difficulty: easy Servings: 4 Used in recipes volumetric containers: one cup (tbsp.) – 240 ml. 3/4 cup (st.) – 180 ml. 1/2 cup (tbsp.) – 120 ml. 1/3 cup (st.) – 80 ml. 1/4 cup (st.) – 60 ml. 1 tablespoon (tbsp.) – 15 ml. 1teaspoon (tsp) – 5 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 1 tbsp. basmati white rice
  • 1/4 Art. chopped apricots
  • 2 tbsp. l fresh currants
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • 1 medium sized chopped onion
  • 2 tbsp. water
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 Art. toasted almonds
  • 2 tbsp. chopped cilantro leaves

Recipe preparation:

  1. Heat olive oil in a medium-sized saucepan. Add rice and onions. Stir until rice is covered with butter and does not become transparent at the edges, about 2 minutes. Add water and salt. Stir, cover the pan, reduce heat to weak and cook for 20 minutes. Remove from heat and let stand under cover 5 min. Stir rice. Then gently mix it with the remaining ingredients.
