  1. Soak pearl barley 6-10 hours before cooking.

  2. Finely chop the breast and fry until golden brown.
  3. Add carrot and onion rings to the meat to fry.

  4. Put the vegetables and meat in pots, salt and pepper, add berries.
  5. Spread pearl barley on top.

  6. Pour hot water into pots so that it covers groats.

  7. Cover the pots with foil and simmer in the oven for about one and a half hours.
