  1. We carefully wash the knobs, scraping the skin with a knife, rub generously with salt, ground pepper and pour oil.

  2. We place the prepared shanks in the baking sleeve, fix sleeve on one side, spread on a baking sheet and pour beer. Close the second end of the sleeve and put in the oven, preheated to 180 degrees for 2 hours.

  3. After 2 hours, open the sleeve, increase the temperature to 200 degrees, and bake aromatic shanks for another 30-40 minutes, until covered with a brown crisp.

  4. We take out the most tender tender shanks and serve with fresh or canned vegetables, mustard and table horseradish.
