You can cook delicious duck with prunes not only at home whole but in pieces. Prunes will give duck meat a wonderful sweet and sour taste, and a bay leaf will add a special aroma.

  1. My duck’s carcass is dried outside and inside.

  2. Place the duck breast up and cut in half.

  3. Cut the halves of the duck into 8 meaty pieces. Pieces with leave a lot of small bones on the broth.

  4. Sprinkle the prepared duck pieces with salt, put them in oil, pepper and fry until brown.

  5. Turn the duck over and fry on the other side. We put the oven on 180 degrees.

  6. Add washed prunes to the roasted duck slices, finely chopped onion and bay leaf.

  7. Cover the pan (should be suitable for the oven) with a lid and set in the oven for 60 minutes.

  8. We take out fragrant juicy pieces of duck with prunes and immediately serve with a hot side dish.
