Kulesh, as I understand it, is a millet soup in which we add various ingredients to your liking. When all the soups tired and you don’t know what to cook, then my advice to you, prepare the Astrakhan kulesh. So, learning to cook fast, tasty and varied!

Astrakhan millet soup

We will need:

  • a glass of millet
  • 2 potatoes
  • 1 onion
  • 3 sausages
  • chicken breast
  • some bacon
  • vegetable oil
  • ground black pepper and salt to taste

You can cook the Astrakhan Kulesh So:

Pour washed millet, salt and pepper into a boiling water. Cut the onion, the finer, the better, fry it and add to millet. We peel and dice the potatoes, we throw it in a half-soup, let it boil for another 10 minutes, adding a bay leaf. Chop the breast and sausages in thin stripes, cook another 5 minutes. So, cut the bacon pieces, fry it until golden brown, sprinkle our Astrakhan kulesh.

When serving, you can sprinkle with aromatic herbs and season with homemade mayonnaise.
