- We put margarine in milk and heat it in a microwave or on fire. We pour yeast into a warm liquid (the liquid should not be warmer than 60 degrees!). Leave for 10-15 minutes. During this time should a “cap” of foam appears, so the yeast is good.
- Then add flour, sugar and salt to the liquid mixture. Knead the dough and put it under a towel to approach for an hour.
- During this time, you can prepare apples. Wash the apples thoroughly, remove the core, peel if desired. We cut in small cubes.
- Add almond petals to the apple slices, raisins, pour lemon juice and warm confiture. Mix evenly.
- When the dough has come, we crush it and roll it into a layer about 30 by 40 cm.
- We spread our filling evenly and squeeze it by hand a little dough.
- Cut the dough lengthwise into 4 strips. First roll up and put in the middle of the form, and the remaining should be wrapped around “snail”.
- Cover the cake with a towel and leave to stand another 15-20 minutes.
- Bake in a preheated oven to 160 degrees for 50 minutes. For 5-10 minutes until ready, grease the cake with the remaining confiture.
