Shrimp cocktail

  • 700 gr coarsely chopped lobster tail meat
  • 20 prepared peeled shrimps
  • 2 finely chopped anchovy fillets
  • 2 tsp finely chopped capers
  • 2 finely chopped sweet gherkins
  • 1 finely chopped, hard-boiled egg (chop yolk side of the knife)
  • Finely chopped lettuce
  • Lemon slices for decoration
  • Ice

Alcohol-based mayonnaise dressing

  • 2 tbsp. mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp. l tomato sauce
  • 1 onion chopped into small cubes medium size
  • 1 tbsp. l finely chopped parsley plus some more for decoration
  • 1 tsp Worcester sauce
  • Spicy sauce to taste
  • 1 tbsp. l orange juice
  • Juice 1/2 Lemon
  • Salt and ground black to taste
  • 2 tsp mustard
  • 2 tsp horseradish
  • 1 tsp paprika plus some more for decoration
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tbsp. l dry sherry
  • 1 tbsp. l cognac
  • 1 tbsp. l cointreau

Recipe preparation:

  1. Place a bowl on the ice crumbs and put mayonnaise in it. Add tomato sauce and 250 gr. lobster meat. In a separate bowl mix onions, anchovies, capers, gherkins, a tablespoon parsley, as well as egg white and yolk. Put this mixture in mayonnaise with lobster.
  2. Add Worcester sauce, a little spicy sauce, orange juice, lemon juice, salt and pepper, mustard, horseradish, teaspoon paprika, cayenne pepper, sherry, cognac and cointreau. Meticulously mix all the ingredients. Season the lettuce with salt, pepper and lemon juice. Arrange in 10 glasses for champagne. Put the remaining lobster meat on the salad, put the mayonnaise mixture on top. Garnish with 2 shrimps, parsley, paprika and lemon slices. Serve cold.
