  1. Wash, dry the cabbage. Chop as thin as possible.

  2. Peel and grate carrots.

  3. Mix carrots with cabbage, gently knead to appear the juice.

  4. Boil water, dissolve salt and sugar in it.

  5. Transfer cabbage with carrots into a three-liter jar, condense and pour boiling brine.

  6. Cover the jar with gauze or cloth.

  7. Put a plate under the jar, as the cabbage starts to ferment, and the brine will flow out.

  8. From time to time, pierce the cabbage with a wooden skewer to excess gas came out.

  9. Cabbage will be ready in 3 days. Keep cool location.
