Recipes use measured containers. volume: 1 cup (st.) – 240 ml. 3/4 cup (st.) – 180 ml. 1/2 cups (st.) – 120 ml. 1/3 cup (st.) – 80 ml. 1/4 cup (Art.) – 60 ml. 1 tablespoon (tbsp.) – 15 ml. 1 teaspoon (tsp) – 5 ml.
Ingredients for the recipe:
- 8 thick slices of bacon
- 2 tbsp. l (30 gr.) Butter, and even if necessary
- 8 slices of white bread
- 340 gr semi-hard sheep cheese with green onions, or cheese grated cheddar
- 4 tbsp. l Thousand Island Sauce

Recipe preparation:
- Fry the bacon over medium heat until crisp, for approximately 8 minutes Transfer to paper towels.
- Add to the same pan 1 tbsp. l (15 gr.) Butter. Put two slices of white bread. Sprinkle each slice of one a quarter of cheese and put on top two slices of bacon. To spread the other two slices of a thousand islands sauce and put on top on bacon. Fry sandwiches until cheese is melted, 3-4 min on each side, until golden brown. Fry the remaining sandwiches by adding more butter when cooking.
