- 1 tbsp. l dark sesame oil
- 3 feathers of green onions, finely chopped (white parts separate from green)
- 1 tbsp. l chopped or grated ginger
- 2 garlic cloves, minced or grated
- Half chopped jalapeno pod
- 450 gr minced turkey (not lean)
- 0.5 tbsp. chopped water nut
- 1 carrot sliced in thin ribbons with peelers
- 1/4 Art. simple hot red pepper jam, see recipe. below
- 2 tbsp. l soy sauce
- 1/4 Art. small twigs of cilantro
- 1 large head of bibb lettuce, sorted into leaves, the most set aside large leaves for other uses
Simple spicy red pepper jam
- 1 tbsp. apricot jam
- 1 red bell pepper, chopped
- 2 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1/4 Art. distilled vinegar 5%

Recipe preparation:
- In a large skillet with non-stick coating over medium heat heat the sesame oil. Add white onion, ginger, and garlic jalapenos; fry, stirring, until golden brown, 1-2 minutes. Increase heat to moderately strong and add turkey mince and 0.5 tsp salts; fry, stirring and smashing the lumps of minced meat with a spoon until it darkens, about 4 minutes. Add nuts, carrots, red pepper, jam and soy sauce; cook while stirring carrots will not fade a little, about 2 minutes.
- Transfer the meat mixture to a bowl, sprinkle with green onions on top and sprigs of cilantro. Serve on lettuce leaves.
Simple hot red pepper jam:
In a blender bowl, mix apricot jam, sweet pepper, cereal red pepper, vinegar and 1/4 tsp. salts; grind until smooth consistency. Transfer to a small saucepan and over medium heat. bring to a boil. Cook, stirring frequently, until jam thickens and does not look like syrup, about 10 minutes. Shift in a jar and cool completely. Keep in the refrigerator no more than 1 weeks.
