This is a simple classic herring recipe. To prepare a delicious mincemeat at home we will use a small amount of ingredients. The mass of herring should not exceed one thirds of the whole finished dish. Surely a combination of salty Herring with a sour apple.

  1. Wash and cook hard-boiled eggs.
  2. Cut the herring, take out the bones, soak in milk for 30 minutes.
  3. Peel, wash and cut the onion into 4 parts.
  4. Wash apples, peel, cut into 4 parts and remove core with seeds.
  5. Pass herring, eggs, apples, onions and meat through a meat grinder butter. Beat the resulting mass with a mixer.
  6. Cover the bowl with mincemeat with a lid or cling film and refrigerate.
  7. When serving, put the mincemeat on a dish (in the form of fish) and serve with fresh cucumbers.
