  1. Cut the cabbage into thin strips.
  2. Three carrots on a coarse grater.
  3. Mix everything thoroughly with your hands. In sterilized 3 liter jar throw hot pepper, bay leaf, then fill it to the top with cabbage and carrots, trying to take denser.
  4. Prepare the marinade: to 3 liters of water, add sugar, salt, alter to dissolve.
  5. Fill the cabbage with marinade and cover with a plastic lid. Within 3 days we leave in the kitchen. Pierce the cabbage preferably with a wooden stick, releasing carbon dioxide. Close cover and remove the jar in a cold place.
