Ingredients for the recipe:
- 1 small head of red cabbage, cut hard ribs and chop (approx. 6 tbsp.)
- 2 fennel bulbs, core, and chop straws
- 3 carrots, grate
- 2 green apples, cut into strips
- 1 red onion, thinly cut into half rings
- 1 tbsp. cider vinegar
- Coarse salt
- 1,5 – 2 tbsp. mayonnaise
- 2 – 3 tbsp. l horseradish

Recipe preparation:
- Mix red cabbage, fennel, carrots, apples and red onions in a large bowl. Pour apple cider vinegar in order to soften the cabbage, sprinkle with salt, and let stand for at least 1 h
- Squeeze vegetables from excess fluid, and mix mayonnaise and horseradish; to salt. Taste and salt if necessary. The cabbage in the salad should turn out to be sour, quite juicy, soft and crispy.
