Quesadilla with toppings to choose from

This dish allows children to add to the open quesadilla themselves sprinkle to your liking. Quesadilla

  • 350 gr lean ground beef
  • 2 tbsp. l olive oil
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/2 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic in granules
  • 2 tbsp. l ketchup
  • 1.25 Art. cooked brown rice
  • 4 whole grain tortillas 20 cm each.
  • 1 tbsp. grated mozzarella

Toppings to choose from

  • 1/2 tbsp. grape tomatoes cut in half
  • 1 red bell pepper, peel and chop thin stripes
  • Sliced Romaine Salad
  • 1/2 tbsp. skim yogurt
  • Lime wedges

Recipe preparation:

  1. In a large non-stick pan, heat olive oil over moderately high fire. Add the minced meat, mash it with a spoon, and cook for about 5 minutes until almost all of the liquid has evaporated.
  2. Stir in cumin, chili powder, garlic, 1/2 tsp. salt and steam a pinch of black pepper, cook for 3 minutes. Stir in ketchup and cook, stirring regularly, about 2 minutes, until the meat is cooked and browned. Add rice and 1/4 tbsp. water, cook for about 3 minutes., so that the rice warms up.
  3. Preheat the oven to 200 ° C. Sprinkle with cooking spray pan with sides. Put whole grain tortillas on it. Divide the minced meat between the tortillas and sprinkle evenly mozzarella.
  4. Bake for 3-5 minutes until the cheese melts and the tortilla begins brown. Put the quesadillas on separate plates and serve with toppings.
