Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 1/3 Art. and 1 tsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 450 gr ready-made pizza dough, room temperature (recipe pizza dough see here)
  • Wheat and corn flour, for sprinkling
  • 120 gr. duck confit (cooked meat in its own juice), cut into slices
  • 1 large egg
  • 1.5 tbsp. young arugula
  • 1/4 Art. grated parmesan cheese
  • Coarse salt and freshly ground pepper
  • Truffle oil, for spraying (optional)

Recipe preparation:

  1. Cook the garlic oil: pour 1/3 tablespoon into the pan. olive oil, add the cloves of garlic and fry over low heat within 30 minutes
  2. Place the pizza stone or baking sheet in the oven and preheat up to 250 C.
  3. Roll out the dough onto a lightly sprinkled wheat flour surface in a circle with a diameter of 30 cm. Transfer the layer to another pan and sprinkle with cornmeal. Grease the dough 3 tbsp. l garlic butter and put the duck confit on top. Move pizza to hot baking sheet and bake for 8 – 10 minutes.
  4. Meanwhile, fry the egg in a pan with the remaining 1 tsp. olive oil. Put fried eggs on hot pizza with fried eggs and sprinkle with arugula leaves and parmesan. Salt and pepper. Sprinkle pizza with truffle oil.
