Pita with shrimp salad – a detailed recipe cooking. Time: 30 мин. Difficulty: Easy Quantity: 4 pita sandwiches. Recipes use measured capacity: 1 cup (tbsp.) – 240 ml. 3/4 cup (st.) – 180 ml 1/2 cup (tbsp.) – 120 ml. 1/3 cup (st.) – 80 ml. 1/4 cups (st.) – 60 ml. 1 tablespoon (tbsp.) – 15 ml. 1 teahouse spoon (tsp) – 5 ml.
Ingredients for the recipe:
- 700 gr. peeled, chopped and cut in half across medium sized shrimp
- 1 cut in half and sliced into thin slices cucumber (remove seeds)
- 1/2 chopped small red onion head
- 1 coarsely grated medium carrot
- 2 tbsp. l olive oil
- 1/2 tsp hot paprika
- Salt and ground pepper
- 1/2 tbsp. Greek yogurt with a fat content of 2%
- 1 tbsp. l chopped fresh dill
- 1 lemon
- 4 wholemeal pitas
- 8 leaves of Boston lettuce

Recipe preparation:
- Preheat the broiler. Soak chopped red onions in a bowl with cold water while you cook the shrimp.
- On the baking tray with the sides, mix the shrimp with olive oil, paprika, 1/4 tsp salt and a little pepper. Spread them in one layer and bake them under the grill until they are become dull in about 4 minutes. Transfer to a bowl and let cool. Wash and dry the pan.
- Strain the onions and add to the shrimp along with the yogurt, carrots, cucumbers, dill, and salt and pepper to taste. Rub a teaspoon of lemon zest and squeeze out about half lemon juice. Put the pitas on a baking sheet and fry them under the grill. Cut the pits in half, put the leaves of Boston lettuce in and shrimp salad.
