  1. Pour olive oil into the pan, add onion and cook when low temperature, covered with a lid, for 30 minutes, until golden color. Add apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, ginger and salt to taste. Stir and continue cooking until until the liquid evaporates and the sauce thickens, yet about 20 minutes
