- 900 gr. ground beef (preferably from the shoulder)
- 1/2 tbsp. breadcrumbs
- 1/2 tbsp. whole milk
- 2 chopped garlic cloves
- Coarse salt and freshly ground pepper
- 3 tbsp. l extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 onion, diced
- 680 gr. marinara sauce (see recipe here)
- 24 small round buns
- 2 tbsp. grated mozzarella cheese

Recipe preparation:
- In a large bowl, mix the minced meat, breadcrumbs, milk, garlic, 1/2 tsp salt and black pepper to taste. Knead with your hands stuffing. Form meatballs, each one in a full dining room a spoon.
- In a large non-stick skillet over medium heat, heat 2 Art. l olive oil. Add onions and cook, stirring, 2 minutes, until the onion softens, transfer the onion to a plate.
