- 700 gr ground beef
- 400 gr. minced pork
- Olive and vegetable oil, for frying

Recipe preparation:
- Preheat the oven to 180 ° C. Chop smoked mozzarella cubes 1 – 1.5 cm in size.
- Grind onions – shallots, dried tomatoes, in a food processor, basil, grated mozzarella, parmesan, tomato paste, pepper flakes, 1.5 tsp salt and 1/2 tsp ground pepper. Shift the mixture into the big bowl. Add ground beef and pork, mix. Form meatballs with a diameter of 3-4 cm from minced meat. Then insert inside one cube of smoked mozzarella.
- Pour an equal amount of olive oil into the pan with a thick bottom. and vegetable oil. Heat to moderately high temperature (180 ° C). Fry meatballs in small portions for 1 – 2 min., shifting them onto paper towels.
- Place the fried meatballs on the foil-covered baking sheet. Put in the oven and continue cooking for another 10 – 12 minutes. Little cool and serve with marinara sauce.
