  1. To prepare the starter mix a glass of flour and 1 tsp. “with hill of sugar. Pour boiling water over them and stir until the mixture thickens to the density of low-fat sour cream. Add raisins there, cover the resulting composition with gauze and cover with a towel. Put the leaven in warm place.
  2. It takes about a day to prepare the yeast. Readiness can be identified by sour odor and visual fermentation process (formation of foam, gas bubbles).

  3. When the yeast is ready, add the remnants of flour to it, sugar, yeast and pour all the remaining volume of water. All carefully mix, cover with a towel and leave warm for at least 12 hours. Kvass on rye flour

  4. Pour the resulting drink into bottles and put in the refrigerator. After 2-4 hours, delicious kvass is ready to eat.
