Kefir pastry pies: video recipe

  1. Boil 1 kg of potatoes, cool and pass through meat grinder.
  2. For the test, mix 400 ml of warm kefir with 1/2 tsp. soda leave for a couple of minutes so that the soda is well extinguished.
  3. Add 1 egg to kefir, 1 tsp. salt, 2.5 tbsp sugar, 2 tbsp vegetable oil and mix.
  4. Pour the sifted flour in parts, knead the dough.
  5. In oil, fry one finely chopped onion, add spices (paprika, black pepper, turmeric and salt).
  6. Put onions in potatoes and mix.
  7. We divide the dough into small pieces, roll it a little and we spread about 1.5 tablespoons of filling, pinch the edges.
  8. We heat 300 ml of vegetable oil, put the pies in the oil and fry on both sides, for about 2 minutes.
  9. Put the finished pies on napkins to absorb excess butter.
