Difficulty: easy Quantity: 4 sandwich Recipes use volumetric containers with a volume of: 1 cup (st.) – 240 ml. 3/4 cup (st.) – 180 ml. 1/2 cup (st.) – 120 ml 1/3 cup (st.) – 80 ml. 1/4 cup (st.) – 60 ml. 1tablespoon (tbsp.) – 15 ml. 1 teaspoon (tsp) – 5 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 2 tbsp. chopped into fibers and finely chopped fried on grilled pork (scapula)
  • 12 slices of ripe cheddar cheese (approximately 170 gr.)
  • 4 tbsp. ready pasta with cheese, warm
  • 8 slices of white bread
  • 120 gr. butter, room temperature
  • 6 tbsp. l mayonnaise
  • 2 medium onions, chop thin rings
  • Coarse salt and freshly ground pepper
  • 1 tbsp. barbecue sauce (see recipes for barbecue sauces. here)

Recipe preparation:

  1. Mix with a mixer 85 gr. butter with mayonnaise.
  2. Put the pasta and cheese in a square of 20 cm. The form for baking. Cover with a film and freeze until hardened, for approximately 45 minutes Cut pasta into squares, slightly smaller than a slice of bread.
  3. Meanwhile, melt in a pan at medium temperature, the remaining 2 tbsp. l (30 gr.) Butter. Add onion and stir fry until caramelized, about 20 minutes Salt and pepper.
  4. Mix pork with barbecue sauce in a pan and heat on low heat for 5 min.
  5. Spread bread slices with a mixture of mayonnaise. Flip over four slices of mayonnaise bread down and put one slice cheddar cheese, then one square pasta and one more a slice of cheese. Put one quarter of the pork on top and caramelized onions, then put the remaining slices of cheese. Put the remaining slices of bread, mayonnaise, on top of the sandwiches up.
