Hot dog with croissant brie cheese

Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 4 hot dog sausages
  • 4 sliced bacon slices
  • 100 gr. thinly sliced brie cheese
  • 4 croissants
  • 0.33 Art. chopped small cubes of pickles (gherkins) and 2 Art. l can brine
  • 1 finely chopped radish
  • 1 finely chopped shallots
  • 3 tbsp. l champagne vinegar
  • 2 tbsp. l mustard and optional topping
  • 0.25 Art. olive oil
  • Frize Salad as a topping

Recipe preparation:

  1. Preheat the oven to 200 ° C. Mix the gherkins and pickle, radish, shallots, 1 tbsp. l vinegar, 0.25 tsp salt and a little ground pepper in a medium-sized bowl; set aside. Beat the remaining 2 tbsp. l vinegar and mustard in a separate bowl. Slowly stir in olive oil, add salt and pepper, set aside.
  2. Wrap each sausage in a spiral of bacon. Preheat a large skillet over medium heat. Put the sausages and fry, turning from time to time until the bacon becomes crispy, 10-15 minutes
  3. Cut the croissants so that the two halves remain connected. Lay open side up and lay on top cheese. Bake until the cheese has melted, about 5 minutes. In each put croissant sausage; put a little frize salad on top and dressings with gherkins, generously pour sauce with oil, vinegar and mustard. Serve with mustard. In this hot dog you can replace Gorgonzola cheese (see recipe).
