Recipes use measured containers. volume: 1 cup (st.) – 240 ml. 3/4 cup (st.) – 180 ml. 1/2 cups (st.) – 120 ml. 1/3 cup (st.) – 80 ml. 1/4 cup (Art.) – 60 ml. 1 tablespoon (tbsp.) – 15 ml. 1 teaspoon (tsp) – 5 ml.
Ingredients for the recipe:
- 8 slices of dried ham (approximately 60 gr.)
- 8 slices of semi-hard cow’s milk cheese (approximately 120 gr.)
- 8 slices of white bread
- 4 tbsp. l (60 gr.) Butter, room temperature
- 1/2 tbsp. pitted dates sliced in thin slices
- 1/4 Art. basil leaves tear to pieces

Recipe preparation:
- Spread bread slices on one side with butter. Heat a large pan to medium temperature. Put in pan two slices of bread, butter down. Put two on top slices of ham, one slice of cheese. Then lay out one at a time quarters of dates and basil, and put one more slice of cheese. Cover the sandwiches with other slices of bread, butter up.
- Fry the sandwiches, lightly pressing with a spatula until the cheese will not melt, for 3-4 minutes on each side, until golden colors. Repeat with remaining ingredients and fry two more a sandwich.
