- 1 large or 2 small pepper pods
- 2 Portobello mushroom caps, thinly sliced, remove the plates (optional)
- 1 tbsp. l olive oil
- 9 slices of bread for a Cuban sandwich, sliced obliquely 0.8-1 cm thick.
- 8 slices of Monterey Jack cheese (approximately 180 gr.)
- 1 tbsp. l chipotle peppers in adobo sauce
- 6 tbsp. l (90 gr.) Butter, softened

Recipe preparation:
- Fry peppers poblenano over an open fire or in the oven in mode grill until it is charred on all sides, turning it as necessary, approximately 8 minutes. Put in a bowl and cover plastic wrap so that the pepper is steamed for 5 minutes. Cool and remove the blackened skin. Thin pepper stripes and then pieces of 2.5 cm.
- Sauté the mushrooms in olive oil in a medium-sized pan over moderately high heat. After about 3 minutes, when they practically softened, salt and pepper. Set aside.
- Put 4 slices of bread on a work surface. Put on each 1 slice of cheese, about 1 tbsp. l chopped pepper blanched, 1 tbsp. l mushrooms and another slice of cheese.
