Hasselback, or simply – accordion potato, – original and quite an interesting way of baking and serving potatoes with various fillings. He was invented by the cook of a Swedish restaurant “Hasselbacken”, in honor of which it got its name. Getting ready this dish is fast and simple, but it looks very festive. Potato tubers are cut into an accordion, stuffed and baked. To make beautiful cuts and not accidentally break a tuber, put it on a spoon or between two Chinese chopsticks and нарежьте. - 6 medium potato tubers
- 100 gr. butter
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 6 sliced bacon, diced
- 250 gr sliced cheddar
- 0.5 tbsp. yogurt or sour cream
- 4 chopped green onions
- 1/4 Art. pickled chili peppers, served (optional)
- 0.5 tbsp. guacamole, for serving (optional)
- 0.5 tbsp. Buffalo sauce, to serve (optional)
- 0.5 tbsp. crumbled blue cheese, served (per wish)

Recipe preparation:
- Preheat the oven to 200 ° C. Cut the potatoes across thin slices of 0.3 cm., without cutting the tubers to the end. Lay out them on a prepared baking sheet. Carefully, without breaking the accordion, rub garlic into the cuts and in a few places put a piece of it oils. Salt and pepper the potatoes. Bake for 1 hour, to make the potato crispy on top, and inside baked.
- Meanwhile, fry in a large frying pan over medium heat crispy bacon. Then put it on paper towels to drain excess fat.
- Remove the baked potatoes from the oven and in a few cuts on a slice of cheddar. If cheese remains, grate sprinkle it on top of the tubers. Also sprinkle with slices of bacon. Put the potatoes back in the oven for 5 minutes to make the cheese melted.
