Ingredients for the recipe:
Mutton:
- 900 gr. sliced 4 cm. meat from the leg or shoulder boneless young lamb (remove excess fat first)
- 3 crushed cloves of garlic
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp dried razmarin
- 3 tbsp. l olive oil (portioned)
- Juice 1/2 Lemon
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
Topping:
- 8 pita cakes
- 2 thin sliced tomatoes
- Shredded Iceberg Salad
- 170 gr crumbled feta cheese
- Tzatziki sauce, recipe below
- Hot cream sauce, recipe below
Tzatziki sauce:
- 1 small grated cucumber
- Finely chopped leaves of 1 bunch of fresh mint
- Finely chopped leaves 1 bunch of fresh dill
- Zest of 1 lemon
- 1 tbsp. natural yogurt
- Salt
Hot cream sauce:
- 1 tbsp. sour cream
- Zest and juice of 1 lemon
- 2 tbsp. l sriracha sauce

Recipe preparation:
- In a large bowl, mix the diced meat with garlic, thyme, oregano, rosemary, lemon juice and a tablespoon olive oil. Mix well so that the lamb is completely topped with lemon marinade. Leave to marinate for 30 minutes.
- On a high heat, heat a large deep frying pan and pour the remaining 2 tbsp. l olive oil. Season the meat with a teaspoon salt and 1/2 tsp pepper. Put the lamb in the pan and cook, until it is browned on all sides to a weak state roast, about 4 minutes from each side.
- Heat the pits in a dry pan or microwave in for a few seconds so that they become warm and flexible.
