Green Olive Tapenade

A delicious combination of green olives, chickpeas, capers, almonds and lemon juice will delight your lucky guests in this recipe tapenade olive paste.

Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 2 tbsp. seedless green olives (about 300 gr.)
  • 1 apple with a red peel
  • 1 tbsp. l capers
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/4 Art. canned chickpeas, drain and rinse
  • 1/4 Art. toasted almonds
  • 1 tbsp. l lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp. l chopped parsley
  • 1/3 Art. olive oil
  • 36 crackers
  • 36 parsley leaves (optional)

Recipe preparation:

  1. Load olives, apple, capers and garlic into the combine bowl. Cover and chop. Add chickpeas, almonds, lemon juice and parsley. Shuffle until combined. When the kitchen is running combine slowly add oil.
  2. Put the paste in a small bowl. Cover and refrigerate until filing.
  3. Put about 1 tbsp on each cracker. l olive paste tapenade. Garnish with parsley leaves if you want.
