Gozleme with spinach and cheese

This is one of the traditional dishes of Turkish cuisine. Can do with other toppings: fried eggplant, mashed potatoes or minced meat fried with onions. At home you are free cook, taking into account your taste preferences.

  1. Sift flour with salt and yeast into a bowl. Pour 1/2 cup olive oil, 50 ml. water and knead the dough. It should be Smooth and do not stick to your hands.
  2. Divide the dough into balls the size of an apple, spread on a tray and cover with a towel. We put the dough in a warm place and leave on 40 minutes.
  3. Finely chop the onion and fry in olive oil. Mine spinach, chop coarsely, add to the onion and simmer for 5 minutes under closed lid. Pepper, salt and let cool. Three cheese on a large grate and mix with spinach.
  4. Roll the dough balls into a thin cake and cut it in half. On a quarter circle with a thin layer, put the filling.
  5. We cover with the second quarter of the circle and press along the edges. Flat cake lightly grease with olive oil.
  6. We heat the dry pan strongly and fry the cake until golden color. Enjoy your meal!
