A delicious cottage cheese dessert will turn out if cooked at home Gombovtsy – a traditional dish of Transcarpathian cuisine. They are also being prepared in Hungary, Austria. They look like lazy dumplings or cheesecakes, but— just look alike. Try to do it yourself and you will understand the difference.

- Hard boil the egg, separate the yolk, cool, combine with cottage cheese, starch, semolina, vanilla sugar, icing sugar, salt, stir with a spoon.
- Roll the dough into a ball, set aside for half an hour.
- Wash the berries, remove the seeds, dry on paper towel.
- Dry the breadcrumbs in a frying pan without oil, cool, mix with sugar and sesame seeds, this will be our sprinkling.
- From the dough with swollen semolina we make balls, inside we lay berry.
- The balls are portioned (so as not to stick together and not stick to bottom) dipped in boiling water, mix, after surfacing cook two minutes, carefully remove the slotted spoon on a paper towel.
- Roll the dried balls in our sprinkle, serve with sour cream.
