  • 1.5 tbsp. water

Recipe preparation:

  1. Pour cornmeal, salt into a deep bowl, add lard and knead the dough thoroughly. Add water and mix until homogeneous consistency. The dough should turn out a little wet. Wet hands with water, form a ball from dough and divide by 12 parts, roll up balls. Place the ball on parchment paper, press down with your hand to form a round cake. Then cover up with others a sheet of parchment paper and roll out the dough with a rolling pin in a circle with a diameter of 17 cm. and a thickness of 0.3 mm. Repeat with remaining balls of dough.
  2. Fry tortillas in a pre-heated skillet with non-stick coating, at medium temperature, for 1 to 2 min from each side. Pave the finished parchment tortilla paper.
