Coeur a la cream with herbs

The recipe for a snack of cheese Coeur a la cream with dill and green onions. Cheese of delicate texture, mascarpone or Philadelphia, whipped with a mixer along with cream, formed into a lump, and left overnight to harden. Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 360 gr. cream cheese cream (mascarpone, Philadelphia), room temperature
  • 1 tbsp. fat cream
  • Finely grated zest of 1 lemon
  • 1 tbsp. l freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 3 tbsp. l chopped green onions, white and green parts (2 pen)
  • 2 tbsp. l chopped fresh dill
  • 1 tbsp. l chopped fresh onions – chives
  • Coarse salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • Crackers for serving

Recipe preparation:

  1. Put the cream cheese in the bowl of the electric mixer, equipped with a whisk. Beat until smooth. Toggle mixer at low speed, and while stirring, slowly pour cream. Then add lemon zest, lemon juice, green onions, dill, onion – chisel, 1 tsp. salt and 1/2 tsp pepper and again mix.
  2. Lay in a 15 cm baking dish in the form of a heart or a sieve the same size several layers of gauze, with a margin. Put the cheese mixture into gauze and smooth the surface, cover with left ends gauze. Set a sieve over a small bowl, cover with a polyethylene film and put in a cold place overnight.
  3. Turn cheese into a dish and serve with crackers.
