Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 3 tbsp. chopped fresh oyster mushrooms or champignons
  • 240 g. Brie cheese or camembert, cut into cubes
  • 2 tbsp. l (30 ml.) Dry white wine
  • 1 tbsp. l (15 gr.) Butter
  • 1/4 Art. finely chopped fresh green onions
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 12 slices of whole wheat bread, toast
  • A pinch of paprika
  • Sliced fresh chives or fresh parsley
  • Ground red pepper

Recipe preparation:

  1. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Sauté the mushrooms and onions for 2 minutes. Add brie cheese, wine and Cayenne pepper. Season to taste with freshly ground black pepper. Then turn down the heat and simmer, stirring, until the cheese melts. Remove from heat and set aside.
  2. Preheat the oven with grill. Cut the crust from the slices of toast, and cut each into four pieces. Put on each slice of cheese mixture. Place the canapes on a baking sheet and sprinkle with paprika. Bake within 3-5 minutes, until golden brown. Sprinkle green onions or parsley and freshly ground multicolored pepper (pink and red).
