Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 1 medium-sized white cabbage
  • 1/2 tbsp. water
  • 2 tbsp. l (30 gr.) Butter
  • 3 coarsely chopped large onions
  • 1 tbsp. l wheat flour
  • 1 tbsp. l spicy curry powder madras
  • 1/2 tbsp. milk

Recipe preparation:

  1. Cut the cabbage into 2.5 cm slices and divide the leaves into pieces. Put the cabbage in a thick-walled pan, pour water and cook, covered with a lid, over medium heat for 20 minutes, until it will become soft. While stewing the cabbage, melt in a second pan butter and saute the onions until transparent. Add the flour curry powder and mix well. Cook for 2-3 minutes, then add milk and continue cooking until the sauce becomes homogeneous. When the cabbage is ready, strain it and put on serving dish. Top with curry sauce and serve hot.
