Ingredients for the recipe:

Burger

  • 1 tbsp. raw peeled and coarsely chopped beets (1 big)
  • 4 tbsp. l grape oil
  • 1 medium onion, chop
  • 2 tbsp. cooked brown rice, chilled (you can make in the microwave)
  • 1 tbsp. walnuts
  • 1/2 tbsp. yellow raisins
  • 1/2 tsp granulated garlic
  • 2 large eggs
  • Bibb salad leaves, for serving

Aioli with citruses and capers

  • 1/2 tbsp. mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp. l capers
  • 1 tbsp. l honey mustard
  • 1 tsp orange zest plus 2 tbsp. l orange juice

Recipe preparation:

  1. Heat the pan over medium heat and add 2 tbsp. l oils. Add onions, season with salt and pepper and fry until lightly golden color, about 10 minutes Set aside to give cool off.
  2. Load brown rice, beets, walnuts, yellow raisins, granulated garlic and chilled onions in a food processor and stir about 10 times until the mixture looks like beef stuffing. Put in a bowl and add eggs, 1 tsp. salt and a little pepper. Mix by hand until smooth, then form 4 cutlets.
  3. Heat the pan over medium heat and add the remaining 2 tbsp. l oils. Season both sides of the patties with salt and pepper. Neatly put the patties in a pan and fry on each side until crisp and brown, about 10 min. on side.
  4. Put the patties on 2-3 sheets of salad laid on a bun. Pour a little aioli and serve. Recipe vegetarian sandwiches. Aioli sauce: In a bowl, mix mayonnaise, capers, honey mustard and orange zest with juice. At season with salt and pepper.
