Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 1/2 tbsp. cornmeal
  • Vegetable oil
  • Salt

Recipe preparation:

  1. Rinse okra fruits under cold water, drain, dry okra and cut into slices 0.5 cm thick. In a tight bag with sprinkle cornmeal with a clasp. Put okra and good shake the circles to cover the breading. Put okra in dry colander and shake off excess cornmeal.
  2. Pour into a stainless steel pan with a diameter of 30 cm. Pour so much vegetable oil to completely cover the bottom pans. Set the pan to moderate heat and bring oil temperature up to 190 ° С. Put okra and fry until golden brown on one side, about 5-6 minutes. Stir occasionally, continue to cook okra until golden brown on all sides, another 5-6 minutes. Using a slotted spoon or spatula, shift the okra from the pan to the wire rack, mounted on a newspaper tray. Salt to taste and allow to cool for 1-2 minutes before serving.
