Bombay Hamburgers Sloppy Joe

  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1/2 cut into small cubes a large head of white onions
  • 1/2 Serrano chili pepper with seeds (do not add them unless you love spicy dishes!)
  • Salt
  • 1/2 tsp honey
  • 1/4 Art. low-fat cream (10-12%)
  • 1 cleaned from seeds and partitions, cut into small diced red bell pepper
  • A small handful of chopped fresh cilantro (including soft pieces stems)
  • 4-6 burger buns

Sauce:

  • 1 can (425 gr.) Of tomato sauce
  • 2 tbsp. l vegetable oil
  • 1 tbsp. l chopped ginger
  • 2 minced cloves of garlic
  • 1/2 peeled and finely chopped chili serrano (leave the second half for turkey)
  • 1 tsp spice mixes Garam Masala
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp. water

Recipe preparation:

  1. Start by making the sauce: In a medium pan medium-sized heat oil until it starts shine. Add ginger, garlic and serrano chili. Sauté until ginger and garlic are lightly browned. Add mix Garam masala and paprika and sauté for 30 seconds. Add tomato sauce and water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer without lid until mixture thickens, about 15 min

  5. When the meat is ready and the sauce is slightly thickened, remove serrano pepper (if you do not want to eat it whole). Add honey cream, pistachios and raisins. Shuffle and try if enough spices.
