- Wash the beets, set on fire, peel, cooled, rub through a coarse grater.
- Grind nuts in a blender.
- In a bowl, combine the beets with chopped garlic.
- Put nuts, finely chopped prunes, season with mayonnaise or sour cream.
- Serve in portions, rammed in a figured cookie cutter. Garnish with greens if desired.
