Batter with fried shrimp in batter

  • 3 large eggs
  • 1.5 tbsp. milk
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1.5 tbsp. flour
  • 1.5 tbsp. breadcrumbs
  • 3/4 Art. mayonnaise
  • 1/4 Art. chopped pickles
  • 2 tbsp. l ketchup
  • 1 tbsp. l horseradish
  • 1 tsp Worcester sauce
  • 4 feathers of green onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp. l chopped parsley
  • Cooking Oil
  • 4 portuguese or kaiser buns uncovered in half
  • Shredded Iceberg Salad for Serving
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Recipe preparation:

  1. Cut the butterfly shrimp along the back. In a shallow bowl mix whisk eggs, milk, paprika and 1 tsp. salt. Add shrimp and refrigerate for 15-60 minutes.
  2. Pour flour into another shallow bowl and pepper. In the third pour the breadcrumbs into the same bowl. Take out the shrimp by one of the egg mixture, roll in flour, then dip in the egg again and roll in breading. Fold the prawns on the wire rack installed on a baking sheet and refrigerate.
  3. Meanwhile, in a small bowl, mix the mayonnaise, salted cucumbers, ketchup, horseradish, Worcester sauce, green onions and parsley. Cover and refrigerate until serving.
  4. In a large frying pan over medium heat, heat 1.5 cm. the height of liquid peanut butter. When its temperature becomes 175 ° C, add in batches of shrimp and fry for about 5 minutes, turning 1 time, until golden brown. Using a slotted spoon transfer the finished shrimp to paper towels and sprinkle with salt.
  5. Grease buns with mayonnaise sauce, fill with chopped salad and fried shrimp. Serve with lemon slices.
