Asian Kimchi Hot Dog

Asian-style kimchi hot dog – a detailed recipe cooking. Ingredients for the recipe:

Hot dogs

  • 8 beef sausages
  • 8 hot dog buns
  • 450 gr purchased kimchi

Cabbage salad

  • 1/2 head red cabbage
  • 1/2 head of savoy cabbage
  • 2 tbsp. l sesame seeds
  • 2 large carrots
  • 1 tbsp. l chopped fresh ginger
  • 3 jalapenos, chopped into strips (remove seeds)
  • 1/2 red onion, diced string vegetable cutter

Gas station

  • 1/2 tbsp. rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp. l chili sauce
  • 3 tbsp. l brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp. l mustard
  • Olive oil 1/3 Art.
  • 1/2 tsp. salt and pepper
  • 1 tsp sesame oil

Ketchup

  • 1 tbsp. ketchup
  • 3 tbsp. l Sriracha sauce (Thai sauce)
  • 2 tbsp. l dark tamari soy sauce
  • 1 tsp chopped ginger
  • Combine all the ingredients in a separate bowl.

Mustard

  • 1 tbsp. mustard
  • 1 tbsp. l tamari sauce
  • 3 tbsp. l ketchup
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger
  • 1 tbsp. l Sriracha sauce
  • 1 tbsp. l rice vinegar
  • Mix all the ingredients

Recipes with similar ingredients: sausages, hot dog buns, kimchi, red cabbage, savoy cabbage, carrots, pepper jalapeno, rice vinegar, chili sauce, brown sugar, mustard, sriracha sauce, ketchup

Recipe preparation:

  1. For dressing: Mix all ingredients for dressing in glass jar, close the lid tightly and shake until full mixing.
  2. For coleslaw: Toast the sesame seeds in within 2 minutes until a light golden color and set aside. Thin chop 2 types of cabbage and put them in a deep bowl. Clean and chop carrots and add to a bowl. Remove Pepper Seeds jalapenos, cut into strips and add to a bowl. Add thinly chopped red onions and gently mix all the ingredients. Before serve, add dressing to the bowl and mix.
  3. Heat the grill to medium temperature (180-200 degrees). Fry each sausage 3-4 times on each side. Cook them on grill for 8 min., turning over every 2 min. (this will allow sausages cook well without excessive heat or carbonization). If desired, dry the buns on the grill, put them on the grill cut down and cook for 30-45 sec., watching by cooking. Place 30-50 gr. kimchi to every bun, then sausage and coleslaw. Pour hot dogs with ketchup and mustard and serve warm.
