- 2 tsp fish sauce
- 2 tbsp. coarsely chopped, roasted peanuts or cashews
- 1/3 Art. coarsely chopped fresh cilantro (leaves and stems)
- Salt

Recipe preparation:
- In a bowl, mix lime juice, sugar, chili paste and fish sauce and stir until sugar dissolves. Add peanuts and cilantro and mix until they are covered with sauce. Very important to chop by hand, not chopped in a food processor, otherwise they turn into pasta. The dish will greatly benefit if the nuts are whole pieces.
- Before serving, put lettuce on a large dish. Put about a quarter cup of pineapple on each leaf and salt to taste. Cover the pineapples with a chili paste and nuts. Serve. Guests can wrap each leaf of lettuce around the filling.
